EXCERPT OF YOU ARE A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD There were also other events of zealous experiences involving Jesus Christ. On a certain occasion, Jesus Christ entered a synagogue where a man with a withered hand was present. There were spectators watching, particularly because it was a Sabbath day, and they were curious to see if Jesus Christ would heal on the Sabbath, which was against their laws, with the intention of accusing him. Jesus Christ was aware of their wicked intent and realized how malicious these people were. His zeal for God and love for people compelled him to immediately command the man with the withered hand to stand forth in the midst of the people, presumably with both the man and Jesus Christ in their midst. He did this to confront and expose their wickedness, immediately upholding justice in the face of such wickedness. Jesus then proceeded to make a statement in Mark 3:4, saying, "And he said unto them, 'Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil? To save a life or to kill?'" After he observed the wicked people maintaining silence, filled with anger and grieved by the hardness of their hearts, Jesus, with zeal, proceeded to heal the man with the withered hand. Another experience was when Jesus Christ came across another man with a withered hand that needed healing, and then Jesus Christ demonstrated zeal by going against the Sabbath laws to heal the man with the withered hand. In the passage, Matthew 12:11-12, made a wise and bold statement saying “what man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days”. Then he immediately healed the man with the withered hand, which in turn made the Pharisees to hold a council on how to destroy him. In all of these Jesus Christ’s zealous actions were not for himself. He never got angry when he was beaten or insulted as many did. His zealous action were focus on rendering justice and bringing honor to God. Whereby God’s name, temple and glory was profane, he will exercise zeal and render justice; whereby people or certain persons are maltreated in line with God judgement, Jesus Christ will zealously intervene with holy anger
EXCERPT OF TRUE DOMINANCE Attitudinal Change: This attitudinal change situation leads to an attitude change based on the conformation or transformation of that individual. Generally, this world has an influential spirit, which is the Spirit of the world. Also, a man that was born into this world came with the breath of God in him, another influential spirit that God breathed into man and the name given to that man is attached to that breath which bends the Spirit to the direction of the name given to it (that is why we should be careful of how we name our children) and therefore the spiritual identity of that individual reflects in the attitude of his early life whether good or bad. But still, there will later be a clash of that spiritual identity from the name given to him with other conforming spirits of the world. These conforming spirits of the world are summed up in these categories: the lust of the eyes, the desire of the flesh and the pride of life; all these are conformable spirits that Adam activated from the "tree of knowledge of good and evil", which ultimately leads to death. With these clashes that some people have with these conforming spirits against their original spiritual identity, they still struggle sincerely to be good and live a honourable life (but not according to God's best and only way) because of certain influential factors like the family, community, learning institutions or peer groups they come across which can either transform them to be better or allow them to be conformed to the world. But in all these, there is another spirit, and this Spirit is also unique and powerful; and it is the only Spirit that transforms, that comes only from God; it is called the Spirit of Truth, it is well known as the Holy Spirit. This Spirit came to be an influential, efficient helper in the lives of men after Jesus Christ liberated men from the bondage of sin and death only of those that believe in him (John 3:16-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”). The Holy Spirit is regarded as the Spirit of Truth because it helps to save and transform anyone who has repented, believed and received Jesus Christ for complete salvation away from sin and death, just as written in the scriptures of John 1:12-“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” and John 3:16.
"For four years, I have walked alongside you, my people," he said, his voice turning quiet yet commanding. "We have toiled together, sweat mingling with determination. Remember the roads we paved, the hospitals we built, the schools that now echo with the laughter of our children? Remember the farms overflowing with bounty, the businesses burgeoning with hope? Look around you, Ayoise!" He gestured across the crowd, their faces mirroring the transformation he spoke of. The once-crumbling infrastructure had given way to bustling streets and vibrant communities. Ayoise, once shrouded in despair, now radiated progress. A hush fell over the crowd. The cheers had subsided, replaced by a contemplative silence. The governor's words resonated deeply, each achievement a testament to their shared journey. Amidst the quiet, I, a visitor drawn to this electrifying event, found myself scribbling furiously in my notebook. Each line captured the governor's passion, his unwavering belief in Ayoise's potential. But then, something extraordinary happened. Then I saw a glow, appearing gradually from the sky, I saw it, despite no one was looking that same direction of the protruding miraculous beautiful light. As Governor Adebayo continued, outlining his vision for a corruption-free Nigeria, a golden light bathed him in its warmth. It's marvelous ray painted the appearance of the governor to a golden magnificent figure, I quickly looked around to find out I happened to be the one privilege and fortunate to witness this wonderful sight. It emanated from nowhere, unseen by the crowd, yet unmistakable to my eyes. It shimmered around him, a celestial halo acknowledging his dedication, his unwavering fight for justice. I knew in that instant, with a certainty that transcended mere observation, that this man was blessed. His love for his people, his relentless pursuit of their well-being, had found favor in the heavens. This light, this divine aura, was a testament to his chosen path, a promise of victories yet to come. His voice, now charged with an otherworldly conviction, boomed across the gathering. John Adebayo continued his impromptu speech "This is not just about Ayoise, my friends! This is about liberating our entire nation from the shackles of corruption! We will expose the darkness, root it out, and usher in a new era of transparency and prosperity!" The crowd, sensing the shift in energy, erupted once more. Their cheers echoed through the streets, fueled by a newfound hope, a shared dream of a corruption-free Nigeria. Governor Adebayo raised his hands in benediction. "May God bless Ayoise! May God bless the people of Ayoise! And may God bless Nigeria!" The words hung in the air, resonating long after the crowd dispersed. I stood there, my notebook filled with observations and a newfound awe. I had witnessed not just a political speech, but a moment of grace, a divine validation of a leader who served not for power, but for the love of his people and his nation. As I walked away, carrying the memory of that golden light, I knew that the future of Ayoise, and perhaps even Nigeria, burned bright with the promise of a new dawn. The pursuit split, some soldiers following Olu, their frustrated shouts echoing through the night, while others continued chasing after Aisha. It was a gamble, a desperate attempt to create an opportunity for her to escape. As Olu ran, his lungs burning and his legs screaming in protest, he knew the odds were stacked against him. But he couldn’t stop. He wouldn’t. He had to give Aisha a chance, a sliver of hope in the midst of the suffocating darkness. Aisha’s heart hammered in her chest as she sprinted across the expressway, dodging speeding vehicles. Adrenaline masked the danger of her situation, her only focus escaping the CCA goons hot on her heels. With a surge of relief, she flagged down a Danfo bus heading towards Oshodi and scrambled inside. But her escape was short-lived as she saw the CCA goons pile into another Danfo right behind hers. The sense of safety she felt evaporated, replaced by a cold dread as she realized the chase was far from over. The Danfo bus driver unaware of Aisha’s plight sped on and at times slowed a little hoping for more passengers despite the bus was filled with passengers with some standing. The Danfo lurched to a halt, its doors open. Aisha emerged, only to be met with the sight of the CCA goons leaping out of the bus behind hers, their eyes glinting with predatory resolve. As she bolted down the street, her phone slipped from her grasp, tumbling onto the asphalt with a sickening thud. Without a second thought, she skidded to a halt, her breath hitching in her chest. But it was too late. Three CCA goons materialized beside her phone, their faces contorted into malicious grins. The one holding her phone brandished it triumphantly, barking orders at the others to apprehend her. Aisha, her vision blurring with tears and sweat, pushed her body to its limit. Each ragged breath fueled her desperate sprint, the pounding of her pursuers a relentless echo in her ears. Ignoring the searing pain in her ankle, she cut corners, leaped over gutters, and weaved through alleyways, a primal fear urging her onward. Finally, she stumbled into a dimly lit clearing. Exhausted and gasping for breath, she found herself surrounded by a scene of utter destitution. Huddled figures, their faces etched with fatigue and hunger, lined the makeshift shelters scattered around the clearing. Women cradled their children, their eyes filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. In the center of the clearing stood an old man, his weathered face etched with the wisdom of years. He wore a faded military camouflage vest, an incongruous symbol of authority amidst the prevailing despair. Without hesitation, Aisha darted towards the old man, collapsing behind the protective shield of the gathered crowd. The familiar faces of the displaced community, their own struggles momentarily forgotten, offered a glimmer of hope amidst the encroaching darkness. As the CCA goons burst into the clearing, their boots crunching on the debris-strewn ground, a primal sense of defiance erupted within the displaced community. With a unified cry, they rose to their feet, hurling stones and whatever debris they could find at Aisha’s pursuers. Ojo, a seasoned soldier, stood tall, his booming voice commanding attention. "Stand your ground!" he thundered. "We will not be cowed by their tyranny!" His words ignited a fiery spark within the crowd's hearts, fueling their courage. EXCERPT OF RAYS OF HOPE: THE JOURNALIST
